What is the best way to clean granite floor tiles?

New house and this flooring is new to me. Short of professional cleaning, what is the best method to clean the tiles and grout between the tiles? Thanks!!

Edit: This is an urgent situation where I really do not have the time to purchase and set-up a floor cleaner now. Also the stone is really hard on the knees. Any other ideas ? Thanks!

Granite floor tiles! I didn't know you could use it as a flooring ver exciting news for me. I thought it was only for counter tops
Best wY I use to clean my granite is with a cleaner special made just for granite and a plastic putty knife to scrape ip the hard spots. Then use a polisher to buff to a shine

If for some reason you meant ceramic tile. Use a scrub brush and Comet works every time

Your problem you're facing is to somehow get a cleaning solution down between the tiles and into the crevices of the grout, and then get it back out. I like to use a carpet steamer, the kind that looks like a vacuum cleaner. These machines shoot down hot water and detergent with a lot of force, and then suck it back up. That will get all the dirt between the tiles. No hands-and-knees work involved. It should clean your tile floors nicely.

I like TileLab cleaner and protectorant available at the Home Depot. You can get it in a spray applicator and use a mop to spread it. You don't have to rinse it off because as it dries it will leave a nice shine. It also leaves a protective coating on the granite which helps resist dulling over time.

There are many good quality tile cleaning machines available in market. Buy a tile cleaning equipment with steam cleaning feature from best cleaning results.

Try diluted lemon juice to clean and then mop with clean water. Try it on a small area first. Worked really well for me and it smells pretty good too.
