19 weeks pregnant and throwing up blood?

So my morning sickness has been gone for quite some time now and this morning I threw up bile. That didn't really bother me, but what did bother me was the fact that there was some blood. :/ There wasn't a ton of blood but there was a little bit. Is this really bad or should I even be worrying?

Depends on the color of the blood. If you threw up and there were tinges of bright red blood, it means that your esophagus is a little raw from all the stomach acid, and may be bleeding just a bit. This isn't cause for alarm. If the blood is brown it means your stomach has had time to partially digest it, and it is a sign of a possible ulcer. Either way it isn't life-threatening. Ulcers usually cause some burning/stinging pain in the stomach, so that should give you a sign as well.

If you are vomiting so badly that you cannot keep even fluids down it is a condition called hyperemesis gravidarum and you should call your doctor, they may need to give you IV fluids to stop the dehydration. I had this with 2 of my pregnancies, and once you get in the dry-heaves, hyperemesis cycle of doom, the only way to stop it is to get those fluids back.

It MIGHT of been the baby throwing up the blood, so go to the doctor immediately. If you ignore it, it could turn into a miscarriage.
