how much do your FFL's charge?

I'd just like to know how much the prices for transfers differ throughout the country! Standard handgun and longarm, no title II's

The rip off that wants $500 for a ruger 10/22 is $40.

The one about 15 minutes away (which I will probably use in december when I get a 10/22) is $20 - $25

I think they should charge 10% of the guns cost,or a if its like a $50 gun charge $10
If im buying a single shot 410 from the 50s for $40 I do not want to pay $40 to accept the gun for me

I am in South Carolina

South Carolina varies widely from $25 to up to $50+5% of the gun price (from the FFLs who don't like transfers).

Where I live, it is $10-$40. The $10 place was kind of iffy. The $40 place is the only real gun shop in town. I used to go to a mil-surplus shop that is now closed and they charged $20. It was an old guy and his wife. It was worth the $20 to listen to their stories.

Anywhere from $20-$50. Some places charge $70 which are to be avoided.

East coast of the USA. They charge anywhere from $20 to $65. I won't pay more than $25.
