At one time I thought so but not today..Look at those great NHRA guys, John Force he is 62 and still going strong. As long as you can be competitive keep driving.

No not at all. I love the fact that Morgan Shepard is still racing. Not well but he is still out there in Nationwide. Mark Martin should only retire if HE feels that it's enough. If they don't do well on the track...maybe reflexes aren't what they should be...then they will know when its time to hang it up and go on to different aspects of NASCAR.

@Sonata: I have just as much right to call some older drivers has beens as those has bens have to race. This is America sweetie, get over it.

I always remember that sweetie, of course anyone can say anything they want to about Junior, that's their right. But it's my right to defend him in this forum when people say ignorant things about him and distort the facts. got a problem with that? TS

i don't have anything to get over sweetie, i'm not the one crying here.

That's kinda ridiculous, NASCAR Drivers are very self policing (right Juan) regardless of a dudes age, if he can't keep up and is in the way, he won't be long! NASCAR has enough rules®s.
