braves earned an A this week, we took 3-4 from the giants then swept the diamondbacks this weekend

They started out good and cut the Detroit lead to 1.5 games before their 3 game series. Winning 2 out of 3 would have been key but they were swept and are now 4.5 games back. The starting pitching, which had been pretty good, had an ERA over 12.00 in the three games. I still don't know why they traded their last two number one picks for Jiminez.

Brewers ...A....we did not beat top quality opposition...but 3/4 from the Dodgers and 3/3 from the Mets was good. We did have some luck, and again the manager frequently changes the lineup, but somehow it works.
We have Greinke who is getting near his best form, which could be important. We also have Prince Fielder who has never let the fact that he's going out of contract affect his play, We have Axford, currently one of the top closers in the game.

Red Sox lost 4 out of 7 games. They did win 3 of 4 in KC so I give them a C-.

They go 6-1 this week but more importantly gain 2.5 games in the cards. 22/25 games is pretty amazing.
