Brewers - started out with a win against the Rockies, eked it out and got it in the 10th! YAY! And Aoki got a Home Run, never would have guessed it would be Nori, but his enthusiasm is contagious and it was pretty cool.

Moving on...then game the next 5 games

Game 2, Braun got a home run!!! And that was the high-light. I didn't like this game, but game 2...it's ok. Lost 4-8

Game 3 - Well, it's only game 3 of the season. A loss is nothing to get too worried about yet, right? Lost 3-7

Game 4 - Diamondbacks, our young shortstop hits one out of the park! He's looking good! AND Kyle Lohse! He was 5th in the NL last season in ERA. Awesome! He looked good too, he missed most of Spring Training, and had a pretty good outing. YES! Well, what are you going to do, lost 1-3.

Game 5 - Kyle Lohse! He was 5th in the NL last season in the ERA. Awesome! He looked good too, he missed most of Spring Training, and had a pretty good outing. YES! Well, you can't have it all, and the Brewers sure didn't, lost 1-3.

Game 5 - A bit worried about Fiers, he didn't do too well in Spring Training, and he faltered after a great start last season. Crossing my fingers!!!! Crossing your fingers is not going to help anything, maybe I should have crossed my toes too, lost to the D-Backs again...2-9.

Game 6 - This is embarrassing, a sweep may happen. But Yovani's on the mound and he's never lost to the D-Backs! 6-0, with a 1.08 ERA! We have this one. Adding Braun and Ramirez are out, but injuries are a part of the game...and down goes out promising rookie Segura at SS. WTH?! Oh no!!! Losing 3-6 in the 9th. No way, this stinks...but the Brewers tie the game!!! The 10th goes by uneventful and then here comes the 11th...well lost 7-8. But at least Yovani didn't get the loss, hmmm

My grade for the Brewers is a D-. They are dangerously close to an F, but they did get that one win! Anyway, Aoki looks good, Jean Segura will be back (last update is day by day) and he's looking good too!

I'm not feeling good about the first 6 games, but everyone says it's a long season and don't panic yet, right? Still, I'm not confident about anything right now.

I'll give the Rangers an A. Flopped on Opening Night against Houston, but the rest was very good. Yu nearly threw a perfect game. And, we took 2 out of 3 from the Angels. Good start to the season.

    Tigers - B

They could have done better in todays game against the yankees (considering we got shutout 7-0). They were performing ok facing the Twins, but Cabrera just wasnt, and really still isnt, on his game yet this season. Fielder has been swinging excellent tho, so that kind of makes up for it.

If it wasnt for the shut-out today and Verlanders blah performance, i would have gave them an B+ because they have still come through when we needed them. I am sure they will progress the farther we get into the year though, especially against our next opponents, Toronto.

    Cleveland Indians. B

They played two tough teams on the road and went 3-3. They beat both of last year's Cy Young award winners in their first six games. Actually Justin Masterson beat them both, I wonder if that's the first time a pitcher beat reigning Cy Young Award winners in back to back starts.

The Tribe would have got a B+ or A- but getting shutout twice in a row drops them to a B but I'm fine with that after their D performance in 2012.

As a Reds fan, I am pretty happy that they started the season at 4-2. It could have been 6-0 had it not been for those two losses in extra innings. It sucks that Ryan Ludwick is going to be out for a few months. Shin Soo Choo is proving to be a very good pick up to hit lead off.

    Braves: B

Yes we are 5-1 but there is a lot of negative i see here. The pitching has been less than stellar and we have alot of strikeuts to start the season.. with guys like upton, upton, heyward, uggla. there will be games where we strike out 10 plus times.. that will be frustrating.. It's been a solid start to the season and yes we are 5-1 but we have played the cubs and phillies.

Realist i guess you could say.

The Cardinals are 3-3, all on the road, half day games(much better record in Night games) and all against the NL West, a division they have historically had some trouble with. I'll take it...with a few reservations. C+/B-

    EDIT: And you?

I give the Twins a B+. Won series against the Tigers and Orioles, two playoff teams from last year. The only reason I don't give them an A is Davis's grand slam off Robertson.

I'd give the Braves an A. Took two out of three from the Phillies and swept the Cubs. The lineup and bullpen looked deadly.

    I'll give the Tigers a C.

3-3 but the pitching hasn't done anything at all and we aren't hitting with RISP. Our 1-5 are looking great though.
