Their mascot is racist, the city is an armpit, another case of a team owned by a billionaire soaking taxpayers for $300mm to build them a new stadium in the suburbs (to avoid the whole 'city/urban' thing), the Thrashers ended up in a city without an airport (seriously), and the most successful franchise is soccer.
