they left us with such a teaser. Magneto maybe moving the chess piece and Rogue was my favorite character from the comic books and I waited through the first three movies for her to be the kick *** hottie but she never got there. So does anyone know if they are just going to leave it or give us what we have been waiting for. the other movies were good. Wolverine and First class but I say finish the story they are on before starting a new one.

I really, truly hope not. Last Stand was an incredibly badly written film, making a mockery not only of the source material, but even of the two films it was supposed to be a sequel to. Thankfully tho it tanked at the box office, did very poor dvd sales, and was almost universally slated by fans and critics alike, so there's very little chance they'll pick up that story again. Let's just see what happens after Last Stand - if they can learn their lessons from that too (i.e. - not to rush production), then the franchise might actually have a chance. Otherwise, just give it the hell back to Marvel!

ps. - Wolverine was really bad too ... just so you know

I highly doubt it. The Last Stand was terrible. Actually, the first three movies werent as good as the new prequel, which is going to be a whole new trilogy.
