Today, an acquaintance of mine told me that she could tell I was pregnant not only from seeing my big belly, but also by looking at my face. I thought she meant that my face was getting a little chubbier, but when I asked her what she meant, she said "Your nose is bigger. I'm not saying you have a big nose, but during pregnancy women's noses get bigger." lol I have never heard this in my life. Is she crazy or is this actually possible?

Commonly the nose swells during pregnancy. I can tell whether or not someone is pregnant from pictures of just their face.

Your nose is cartilage and muscle. It won't change. Even if you do put on "baby weight" or water retention, your nose won't change.
It is similar to saying "You're having a girl, because you're carrying "all over" (getting fat) or you're having a boy, because your belly is in front, but you haven't put weight on the sides or thighs etc.
I had two boys, and I "got fat".
I think she honestly believes it's true, it could be a wives tale she heard in the past.

Yeah, she's crazy. Your face will likely get fuller as a whole as you put on the baby and water weight, but you nose bone can't change size.
