How many combinations can I have? 6 sauces, 7 pastas, 3 meats.?

I have a choice of 7 different pastas, 6 different sauces, and 3 different meats. I can mix and match anything, how many combinations can I make??? And y so?

7x6x3=126 this is the answer because there are seven ways you can use each of the six sauces so that is 6x7 pasta and sauces combinations. Then there are three ways you can use the 6x7 combinations of pastas and sauces so the final answer is just 6x7x3.
