Your opinion on new car choice? Loaded Corolla LE with a moonroof vs. Camry LE no moonroof?

OR a Nissan Altima S, no moonroof. Your choice and why?

I have always wanted a moonroof (live in Midwest). We buy a new car (cash) every ten years or until they are undriveable. I have a strict cash budget. I cannot afford the moonroof option on the camry or esp the Altima S. Plus the gas mileage on the Corolla is the best of the three.

Your thoughts?

Also on Cash incentives: Altima is 1,000; Camry is 1000, Corolla is 500. The Altima would be a 2012; Toyotas are 2011.

Short Answer: Get the Corolla.

I'd get the Altima, no competition. It's much more fun to drive. But you didn't mention that as your criteria.
If you're literally driving cars into the ground, you should get a Corolla.
If you have to choose between the Corolla and the Camry, only get the Camry if the Corolla is too small. The Camry is a bit more powerful, provided you aren't getting a V6(you would get the moonroof instead), but you won't notice. If the moonroof is your #1 criteria, you answered your own question because only one car has one.
The Corolla is boring but you will be driving it at least 10 years and it has the moonroof, therefore it matches your criteria.

observing your question, i hit upon 2 issues. First you place the 08 fashions of the Camry, Prius, snd Accord as properly by way of fact the 07 Corolla, why no longer the 08 Corolla? the has the two superb midsize autos obtainable and a *small* vehicle in case you prefer to contain a small vehicle on rhe checklist, upload the Civic. real now the 08 Accord is something that no different Accord has *ever* been... *appealing* . p.c.. 2, power them the two and paintings with the Honda or Toyota Salesmanto get the wonderful deal on the 07's. (an prolonged by way of fact the sellers have 07s the 08s would be around MSRP)

in CT there are leftover 2011 Altima that are nicely priced with a extra $500 off for labor day i really believe you could get one with a moon roof at a price you could afford this weekend

My guess is you'll never open the moon roof after the first few times you use it. Unlike a convertible you wouldn't even know the moon roof was open except for the increased noise, heat, cold, or drips.
