How much water should I drink a day if I run a lot?
I run cross country and am wondering how much water I should drink to perform best. Is it more than an average person? Also this isn't the amount just before a race, the amount I'm wondering about is for everyday.

In hot and humid weather and during exercise you can sweat several liters per hour (I measured 2.2 liters/hour this weekend). I always step up on the scale before a long run and then check in after again. The difference + all liquid you consumed during to run = how much you lost. This should give you a guidance on how much you need to recover. However, you will probably need more liquid per day than a non-active person. You will continue to sweat after the run and, as you get more fit, your body will be more sensitive to temperature differences and will start sweating sooner and more to adjust. Make sure that if you compensate with water that you also take electrolytes (salts) since a lack of these can be very dangerous. Also remember that the body can only absorb about 1 liter per hour, so if you drink more than that you will just have extra fluid in your stomach causing discomfort while running.
It will depend on what form of medicines. For marijuana, in case you drink two gallons of distilled water everyday, activity everyday, and take a B12 diet every day, you will have to be equipped to go a urine scan. Cocaine leaves your procedure inside every week. Mushrooms can't be detected through urine assessments, handiest through spinal faucets, that are unlawful. I have no idea approximately the opposite ones.
