where can I get a Labradoodle puppy?

I'm getting a labradoodle puppy as a gift for a friend, does anyone know of any good breeders I can get one from?

Thanks!

1) Puppies do NOT make good gifts.
2) "Labradoodles" are just mutts. There are tens of thousands of mutts to choose from in shelters.

ETA: I cannot believe that someone posted a mutt breeder website that actually ADVERTISES Christmas Puppies and then states that they are very selective who their dogs go to? And waiting lists for litters that were already whelped? Shouldn't that be taking place before the litter is bred?
What a crock!

And even though they referenced Wally, he is ashamed of how these breeders are scamming the public because of a FAILED experiment.

Every LabPoodle mix I have ever met was an insane chewing machine with a questionable temperament and no brain to speak of. (I take that back-I met ONE who wasn't).

Sorry, but the words 'labradoodle' & 'good breeder' have not belonged in the same sentence since the man who tried to create a breed for a legitimate purpose gave up on it. 2 - no good breeder or shelter will sell a pet that's intended as a gift, and 3 - if anyone chose a dog that I was expected to spend the next 10 - 15 years with, with no input on my part would find themselves with a shiny new mutt to call their own

If your friend wants a Lab/poodle mix, then your best option would be to give her the money for one and she can decide whether or not she wants the dog or not.

It is NEVER wise to get someone a dog for a present. What if they don't really want it?

Actual breeders do not breed such mutts. And thats what this is -- a mutt. Nothing but a Labrador mixed with a standard poodle.

You can find this in your local shelter. There are tons of this particular mix in there. That should tell you something.

Getting a dog as a gift is daft. Don't do this! Only buy a friend a dog if they say they truthfully want and can provide care for them. So basically they want a dog, but your buying it then okay.
Also, why not adopt off a animal sanctuary? You also never know, they may have a labradoodle in desperate need of a home:)!!

Labradoodles are just glorified mutts, and getting a puppy as a gift is never a good idea.
