questions about crossbows?
Please don't tell me that I can't hunt with them. Every time I bring up the word "crossbow", that's all anyone ever says.
Anyway, my Qs:
Are there any actual, good "hand" or "mini" crossbows? Or are they all just toys? If you've never seen one used in real life, please know that I have used many in real life, and they all sucked. I don't think they could inflict pain on bare skin without putting a hot-sauce-dipped razor blade on the end.
Second Q:
Do any modern crossbows have steel bows? I have inherited an old one from the 1950's made by Stevens. It is beautiful and heavy, but I haven't shot it yet.
Black Knight , get off your high horse. I bet you are the guy at gatherings who speaks louder than everyone else just to avoid hearing any rebuttals, then laughs at your own jokes to break up the silence .

So, with that in mind, I cannot ask about rubber-band pistols, catapults, slingshots, or shotguns reserved for skeet.
This is a question about physics and machinery, not a multiple-choice question on a game-warden's test.
Most people with knife collections don't go around stabbing people. So should knives be made of inferior steel, since it's illegal to go on a stabbing spree?
