It means that even those closest to you are going to hurt you at some point in your life, whether they mean to or not. It happens. You're going to hurt the ones closest to you, whether you mean to or not. It's human nature. But we have to choose which are the people who are going to hurt you with no remorse versus the people who may hurt you but you learn and grow together and can forgive and move past the hurt. It's the latter which are the ones worth "suffering for". Though the last part I believe is poor word choice for what is really meant....Show more

I think its a statement that does not go too deep. It mean to me that every person is different than you. They think different they act different. Disappointment is a form of hurt. Everyone will disappoint you and everything they do disappoints you, but there are some that even tho they disappoint you, they still have qualities that don't disappoint you. You have to see past the "hurt" to see if they can also make you happy. OR it means that people can hurt you, hurt you and you can love them so much it hurts you.
