The Ones Worth Suffering For

It means that even those closest to you are going to hurt you at some point in your life, whether they mean to or not. It happens. You're going to hurt the ones closest to you, whether you mean to or not. It's human nature. But we have to choose which are the people who are going to hurt you with no remorse versus the people who may hurt you but you learn and grow together and can forgive and move past the hurt. It's the latter which are the ones worth "suffering for". Though the last part I believe is poor word choice for what is really meant.

I think its a statement that does not go too deep. It mean to me that every person is different than you. They think different they act different. Disappointment is a form of hurt. Everyone will disappoint you and everything they do disappoints you, but there are some that even tho they disappoint you, they still have qualities that don't disappoint you. You have to see past the "hurt" to see if they can also make you happy. OR it means that people can hurt you, hurt you and you can love them so much it hurts you.

It's a melodramatic way to say there's always going to be bumps in the road in any relationship. Which is true, but as difficult as some relationships can be, you should never suffer for anyone.

I think it means---everyone will cause you grief at one time or another---(people deal with conflict ALL the time)--- some people are worth the problems they cause you though, because they are not truly malicious, or they are just a bit thoughtless-but have redeeming qualities.

He probably means that in love everyone will break ur heart one way or another u just have to find "the one" to really truly feel sad about

Hello there! your friend here,to be honest here. I believe you expect negativaty. Its kind of your comfort zone. Past life experiences, therefore you wouldnt know quite how to deal and feel with security and contentment,let alone 'happiness' You should look into your own insecurities.

It means that everbody will make mistake and let you down in life, but you have to find the ones that you love regardless and that they will do the same for you

I think it means the person who came up with that saying is a totally negative person and looking for things to go wrong. Very sad, and VERY wrong.

I have absolutely no idea. I wonder if Mr Marley did. It seems a very sad and poor mantra.
