What is the best photo sharing site?
I take lots of photos for different volunteer events and post them publicly so those involved in the events can access them. I have no problem with people snagging copies of my photos or sharing them. I only ask that I get credit for them if any are used for anything other than posterity.
As there are hundreds of photos per event that I would wish to post, and I would want to have them organized, what would you recommend as the best photo sharing site for me to use?
2 AnswersPhotography8 years agoExperts, please advise on hip stretches?
I have recently noticed that my hips are turning in, which is making me prone to injuries just by walking. Does anyone know of any good stretches that will help to turn my hips more outward?
(This is a problem I had in early childhood that was treated with braces that forced my feet to turn outward, that seems to have resurfaced.)
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness8 years agoWhat do you do for cardio when you have a sprained ankle?
I keep injuring the same ankle. I can't use the treadmill, elliptical or bikes. I don't know what I can do to get some cardio in without risking further damage to my ankle. Any suggestions?
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness9 years agoHow can I prevent my headaches?
I've recently figured out that my part-time job is giving me migraines. It's a combination of the many different fragrances in the store as well as the apron I wear. The apron is part of my uniform and I can't avoid the fragrances. Is there any way you can thing of (besides my regular visits to a chiropractor) that can prevent or at least lessen my migraines without medications?
And yes, I already know from experience that the medications prescribed by neurologists don't work for me as I've tried them all with no success.
5 AnswersPain & Pain Management10 years agoWhat would you add to/serve with this?
I recently got a pumpkin parmesan pasta sauce from Williams Sonoma. What do you recommend I add to the pasta or serve with the pasta to round out the meal?
I don't want salad or bread.
Thanks for your suggestions!
5 AnswersCooking & Recipes10 years agoWhat do you suggest I make?
I have two potlucks to go to this week. One is treat day at my work on Wednesday. The next is a potluck dinner meeting Thursday. I don't want to spend too much money and I'd prefer simple things that most would enjoy. Any suggestions?
5 AnswersCooking & Recipes10 years agoIs there a way to get paint out of clothing?
I was painting earlier today and realized this evening I'd gotten latex paint on my shorts. Is there a way to get the paint out? I managed to get only a small amount off using a toothbrush and a little soap and water. I'd like to get the rest out, if possible.
Any suggestions?
4 AnswersCleaning & Laundry10 years agoHow do you get motivation to exercise?
I don't belong to a gym, so I can't afford it. I have several different videos at home, but I really don't like exercising at home because I lack the motivation and I'm usually distracted. The only time I have no problem exercising is on days with nice weather when I don't have any appointments immediately after work. There's a track around a pond right next to where I work that I walk around.
I'm trying to get myself into the habit of getting more active and having some trouble. How do you all get motivated? And any suggestions for me?
Thanks all!
3 AnswersDiet & Fitness10 years agoApproximately how much would it cost to replace a windshield?
I have a 2001 Hyundai Elantra and I need to replace my windshield sometime before my next inspection in October. I need time to save up for this which is why I'm looking into it now. Roughly how much this would cost including parts and labor?
Thanks for the help!
7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhat's a good skunk deterrent?
A skunk already sprayed outside my house a couple times and I finally saw it for the first time tonight. I think it might be living under my house or around the shed. I don't want to hurt it, but is there something I can use or put around outside that will drive it away? I just want it to find a more appropriate home.
3 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoAre spelling and grammar even taught in school anymore?
Too many times I've seen questions in various categories where spelling and grammar are atrocious yet the person claims they do well in school. If they are good students as they claim, why would they wish to appear so uneducated when posting online?
3 AnswersHomework Help1 decade agoDo dryer balls eliminate static?
You know those little nubby blue balls that are supposed to act like a fabric softener without using fabric softener? How well do they work? And do they get rid of static?
2 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoHow do I stop getting updates on the What's New tab of Yahoo! Mail?
I keep getting updates from a person whom I've deleted and blocked in my account because he was just about to the point of e-stalking me. I still get updates from him and I can't figure out how to get rid of them. Can anyone help?
1 AnswerOther - Yahoo Mail1 decade agoWhat is an inexpensive way to prevent slipping on ice on my deck?
I have a plywood deck and ramp off the house I moved into recently. As the temperatures have been dropping into the 20s lately, I've already gotten an idea of how slick they'll be during winter as I've nearly fell once already. What is the easiest and least expensive way to either prevent ice or to give the deck and ramp texture so I'll still have traction with a little ice?
8 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoHow do you determine the most efficient way to organize the kitchen?
I recently moved into a new house. As I was unpacking the kitchen, I tried to put things where I thought they'd make the most sense, such as having the glasses and plates in the cabinet closest to the sink. But I'm discovering that my kitchen doesn't flow right. I need to move the glasses and plates because they're actually difficult to get to. The doors only open halfway (meaning the door opens to the point that the door is facing straight out; it doesn't have any wrap around) so I have to lean over the counter, around the door, to get anything out of it.
How do you figure out the best way to organize the kitchen so the flow works for you? I'm struggling with this as I haven't needed to do it in 13 years.
Thanks in advance!
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhat do YOU consider to be romantic?
I don't care about what the social stereotypes are. I want to know what you personally find romantic. Please state your gender, if it's not obvious. I'm curious to see how men and women differ, if at all.
14 AnswersGender Studies1 decade agoWhat is the average cost to recharge a car's A/C?
I'm inquiring for a friend of mine who has a 2006 Jeep Laredo. She wants to recharge her A/C. What is the average cost she should expect if she has it professionally done?
Or are the DIY kits just as effective? Are they cost efficient and easy to use? She's going on a trip this weekend and wants to make sure it's working
Thanks to all for the input!
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHow do you react when someone is unintentionally discriminatory or offensive?
You know how it goes. We've all done it. We've said something that we didn't mean as offensive but it came out that way perhaps because we said something wrong or didn't know it was offensive. So when you know someone isn't intending to be that way, how do you respond?
5 AnswersGender Studies1 decade agoAre you afraid of death?
Why or why not?
To me, death is a part of life. And life wouldn't have any meaning with and ending. As all living things eventually die, there is nothing to fear.
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCan someone offer suggestions on how to repair this issue?
I have a 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager and I have an issue with my heater. The heater has a slide lever for a thermostat and part of the slide lever broke off with the temperature in the cold position. What would be the best and easiest way to repair this?
