Do dryer balls eliminate static?

You know those little nubby blue balls that are supposed to act like a fabric softener without using fabric softener? How well do they work? And do they get rid of static?

No. Their soul purpose is to soften your clothes and they suck at it.

MANY people claim thy work great yet those same people NEVER provide any evidence and are the exact type of people who have no idea how long clothes took to dry before or how much static they had, i.e. whether or not there is any improvement. The claims made by most dryer ball sellers are based on one report/study done by UK company and released in WORD format which is always able to be altered easily. The report also has one noticeable discrepancy - the report date is a couple days before the study date which begs the question, how do you post results before you do testing???? MANY local news stations, newspapers, and magazines have done thier own testing and the vast majority found results which ranged from very very minimal improvements TO actually worse results with the dryer balls. These real world tests typically cover one or more aspects including energy cost, static reduction, fabric softness, drying time, and noise. The bottom line? Its a scam based on unprovable and suspicious test study. It is a scam that perpetuates itself through ignorant and gullible people who think a product works better simply because they want it to be better. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY NOR ENCOURAGE THE SCAMMERS!!
