Asteroid 2005 YU55 be visible in Ohio?
Will the asteroid be visible in Ohio, with a telescope, if so what are the coordinates?
I am Powell, Ohio, just north of Columbus.

Well, ..., 5:20PM central time would be the closest approach but you can still observe it for a few hours after closest approach (If you have at least a 6" diameter telescope and some dark clear skies). Follow the website information below for observing tips.

Yes it will be visible, but only with at least a 6-inch aperture -- 10-inch would be better. I can't give coordinates because you didn't give your exact location, and this object is close enough that parallax is a problem. Also it is moving constantly. Unless you are a very experienced observer and have generated up-to-date charts in a planetarium program, your chances of spotting it are very slim.
