Our perspective is flawed. A bacteria on the surface of a ping pong ball will likely *think* it is anything but round. Our senses deceive us.

"I feel the Earth move under my feet, I feel the sky a tumbling, a tumbling down... whenever you're around!"

Generally, we don't "feel" motion, we feel acceleration and deceleration. As a person riding on the earth which is in constant motion, there is no logical reason for me to "feel" that.

Imagine being on a Merry Go round that turns once in a year would you feel anything

How do you know you don't feel it?

You have nothing to compare it to.

You are moving around the sun along with the earth. It is a free fall orbit. So what forces would you expect to feel?

Like being in a Car or an Airplane once it is up to Cruising Speed

    You dont feel any Acceleration

It is the same with the Earth, Even though it can gradually change Its Orbital Velocity in an Eliptical Orbit

The Force is Negligable for us on the Mass of the Earth

Because the acceleration and deceleration of the planet is very slight.  Earth spends half the year accelerating and the other half decelerating, at a rate of 1.3 km/h/h.  If you were in a vehicle travelling at 80 kph and after an hour it was travelling at 81.3 kph, you wouldn't notice.

The Earth is spinning at 1000 mph and at the same time traveling around the Sun at 67,000 miles per hour. I couldn't explain it to you scientifically I'm just glad that we can't feel that
