Probably the greatest double threat baseball player of all time. He played Pitcher & Outfielder and was outstanding at both positions.

But he had enough qualified years if you count the hitting. He had 10 years of that. So wouldn't you still be able to put him in for both?

He is a absolute hall of famer. There is no question about it. This is just another example of the BBWAA and the Veterans Committee not be accountable for some of the garbage they've been putting in over the years.
He has the wins and career ERA, but he didn't have a long career and the game was much different back then. don't get me wrong 218 wins is a nice career but back in those days they got 50 starts a season, pitched complete games almost every game (so almost assuredly got a decision) and racked up 350 innings. so if he pitched longer like 6 more years and had 340 wins i could see it.
