Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity?

I'm 16. I just graduated high school and have a couple of months before I can start a new semester at a local junior college. In the meantime, I was hoping to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. I see that they have youth programs, but do you know if it's acceptable for someone to join the regular volunteering and building when under 18? I'm pretty unclear on that.@-@

Thanks so much^____^!! I'm excited to volunteer!

Also, what are some other volunteer options for a minor? It's SO HARD to find them!!

Very detailed information that discusses your many, many options - the usual and many activities you probably never thought of. Includes instructions on how to find specific volunteering opportunities (with animals, with children, just for one day, etc.).

It depends on which Habitat affiliate you're looking to volunteer with. For some it's as young as 16 for others it's 18.
