Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity?

I'm 16. I just graduated high school and have a couple of months before I can start a new semester at a local junior college. In the meantime, I was hoping to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. I see that they have youth programs, but do you know if it's acceptable for someone to join the regular volunteering and building when under 18? I'm pretty unclear on that.@-@

Thanks so much^____^!! I'm excited to volunteer!

Update:

Also, what are some other volunteer options for a minor? It's SO HARD to find them!!

It depends on which Habitat affiliate you're looking to volunteer with. For some it's as young as 16 for others it's 18.
