Is a luxury condo a specific kind of condo? Are all condos "luxury condos?"

I'm 17. My parents and I are living in a one-room apartment. They have the room and I am sleeping in a closet. I'm writing this now because my dad just woke me up and I can't get to sleep. My legs can't even stretch out in here and the air circulation is terrible, lol.

I haven't gotten decent sleep since we moved here and I have classes very early in the morning and I have to take the bus so it's even earlier. Sleeping here is no longer an option because my dad goes in and out of the house at all hours of the night even when I do fall asleep. He always slams the doors and bangs around and turns on the brightest lights which are bright even from the closet.

My question is: where else can I sleep? I don't have any friends to stay with. I'm considering one of the woody areas outside that I hike at, but I'm afraid that there will be drunks/homeless people and I'm female. Where do I go?T__T

My parents are moving into a one-room apartment. My sister has already moved out, but my parents have taken the bedroom and I have nowhere to go during the day. They're constantly talking and watching the TV (I don't like TV) in the living and they're just so loud. I can't focus on my school work (I'm 16 in college), I can't meditate, there's NO PEACE I CAN'T TAKE IT. I have to sleep on the couch because my dad is afraid that a bed in the living room will make it look weird. He won't even let me have a bed! I'm not complaining to him, but I'm still pissed off. I've looked for a job, but I found nothing and I'm trying to focus on school. I don't know what to do. Advice?

Why is it so hard for some parents to accept their kids if they're different from each other? What's the mentality behind this?

The dream is me being with my mom and sister and we are on my sister's school campus and there are soldiers visiting. We want to get to our car to go home but it is behind a dark building and VERY scary. There is a man yelling and laughing and singing who is extremely drunk and terrifying (always been afraid of drunk people). We get to our car finally and drive away asap.

In the next scene, we find that a soldier or group of soldiers has been kidnapped and taken to a hostile country as P.O.W. and I find out that it is because I was walking late and they wanted to tell me not to because I am a minor (in real life I am a minor too). There is a boy with down syndrome who is for some reason in this dream very scary and intimidating. He starts following me around and telling me that he KNOWS why the soldier was taken. He wants to get back at me for it, and all I remember then is running and running... My mom is with me at the part I remember where we are both RUNNING FOR OUR LIVES, and then I woke up--TERRIFIED.

Please, if you can interpret this somehow, offer whatever you can. I'm baffled.

So I'm attending junior college right now at 16. I know some people spend their entire lives trying to find what they want to do, but I've had two dreams for a long time. I know I'm capable of achieving either. I might change my mind in the future, but I've considered these for a long time, and I'm passionate about them.

My first interest is aiming for a PhD in either Physics or Geoscience. I could either work in a related field or teach at a university. I understand that it would require hard work, and I'm willing to do it. Science has always been fascinating to me, these especially. I might want to gear my Physics towards Astrophysics.

My other interest is to get a BS in Horticulture (possibly double major and get Environmental Science or Ecology, too). In the long-term, even if I do get a PhD, I want to settle down on an organic farm or in an ecovillage. With my Horticulture degree, I could begin that right away and travel through the WWOOF program. I would also have more time to volunteer. I would apply for the Peace Corps, and even if they didn't accept me, I could find other programs and use Habitat for Humanity or a number of other organizations like Greenpeace.

I'm sorry this is so long, but please give whatever advice you can.:)

I have a high school diploma and only a small amount of college completed. I've read that the state and national program allows you to join at 17. Is it easy to get into, or will they be looking for more in an applicant? I have no work experience and only a small amount of volunteer work.

I'm 16. I just graduated high school and have a couple of months before I can start a new semester at a local junior college. In the meantime, I was hoping to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. I see that they have youth programs, but do you know if it's acceptable for someone to join the regular volunteering and building when under 18? I'm pretty unclear on that.@-@

My grandpa sprayed a bunch of pesticides around the house, all over the organic apple tree and stuff too...

He sprayed it around the house because he wanted to kill bugs or SOMETHING. What can I do to neutralize it, even a little?

Growing up, I've met plenty of guys with long blonde hair. For some reason, sometimes this hasn't happened, but with some of these guys, I have this SERIOUS irrational fear.

When I saw Mall Cop, the dude with long blonde hair who was a bad guy (how embarrassing to admitXD) scared the CRAP out of me. Not like, ohhh noo, he's got a gun! Really terrified. I just woke up from a dream where a character with long blonde hair was trying to kill me, and I felt the EXACT same kind of fear (it feels sort of different than normal fear). I've had male friends with long blonde hair and haven't even thought of it before, but sometimes I'll see a stranger like that and suddenly I'm shaking. It's happened a lot, and not just after I saw big, bad, scary Mall Cop! (sarcasm)

Weird fear trigger? Something from when I was younger? I'll even take fear from a past life.:) So far, it's always been straight hair. Legolas doesn't scare me, thank goodness.=D

When converting between atm, mmHg, inHg, psi, Pa/kPa, etc., when do you multiply and when do you divide?

Can you show me a basic example of converting between two? Much appreciated.^_^

There are a few math courses that are required for a degree I would like to get that are also required for another degree I want. My question is, would I need to take the classes twice or could I take it once only? Does that vary in colleges?

If I got a minor in math, would I need to take those classes again for my major?

People always say, "Be yourself," but, when you finally do, a lot of people just give you "a look." It's almost funny, but mostly just sad.
