I have a friend with the same problem, everytime he tries to be himself, others think he is just odd ro werid. Our society is hard to live in as a young person because we all have a certain view on what others should act. Many of use might not even realize we do this either. What is really "werid" or "odd"? Just because someone dresses, looks or acts different, we get labled as somone that is not accepted. The only advice is to keep being yourself. The people that are not accepting you are probably just jealous and insecure because they can't be themselves.

I know what you are talking about. But you just need to believe that your uniqueness is worth discovering, and the reason you don't have many friends is because you are not typical. I'm the same way...never had a friend I could confide in, was kissed only at 20, but know I have found the right person that I love. God looks over people...especially those who have integrity and the courage to be themselves.

It's ok....people are like that with me too sometimes but I don't let it affect me because I am a better person than they are. Ignore it. You will meet a good person someday.
