1M of H30+ ion concentration is what pH?

Thank you berry much.8D

Generally, the M is in the form of ex: 10^-8M, and then pH would be 8. In this form, of just "1M," I don't know. Thanks again~

    This would occur in the caser where you prepare a 1.0M solution of HCl

    HCl is a strong acid and dissociates completely.

    Therefore [H+] or if you prefer, [H3O+] = 1.0M

    pH = -log [H+]

    pH = -log 1.0

    pH = 0.00.

    The pH of a 1.0M solution of HCl = 0.00.
