Any proven ideas on how to get rid of squirrels in my attic?
While working on the siding and trim outside the house, there was some boards left off and squirrels have decided the attic would be a nice place to spend the winter. When one hole is covered up, they make another HELP!

Toss about a half a box of mothballs all about your attic. You should be squirrel free in no time flat. Then hurry up the repairs before spring time. Mothballs will run a skunk from beneath a house or any other warm blooded critter trying to take up residence.
Serve them with eviction notices and threaten ligitgation. The only thing harder to evict than squirrels from an attac is a family of deadbeat rednecks from a trailer park.
Neighbor had this problem and the only way she got them out was she call a exterminator and they had them out the same day. They deal with this type problem and know what to do. This is something you don't want to do on your on. I picked up a squirrel when a teen and it almost bit my finger off before I shook it off.(I thought it was dead). They will bite you.
If there are any trees or branches touching the house get rid of them. Clean your gutter of leaves, they start out going through the gutters for acorns. See if you can hire someone to trap them and take them ten miles off.
smoke is the best way to get them out, then cover up the holes. they're pretty vicious during the winter so i'd advice just shooting them if you see them outside.
