What is ATP, a solid, liquid, or somethimg else?

No, I am not asking this for help with my biology homework. I was just wondering what it is because all they told us in biology is that cellular respiration (in the mitochondria or cytoplasm) produce waste products (CO2, H2O, etc.) and energy in the form of ATP. But WHAT IS ATP?! Is it like liquid energy or something?

ATP is a soluble energetic molecule that stores energy in the bonds of three phosphate groups. If you were to have pure ATP at room temperature, it would be a solid.
