You go straight to AIT after you have completed Basic, you do not get leave unless it happens to fall within Christmas Exodus. you have not earned enough leave yet, you earn 2.5 days per month and when taken include weekends and holidays, so 1 weeks leave is 7 days not 5 working days. You can go straight to the post that AIT is located at but you might not start up right away sometimes you can wait a week or two but you will be put to work while you are there.

Marines are the ONLY branch to offer leave after completing Basic/Recruit Training as it is 13 weeks long.

Nahh not unless your mos is infantry or military police. You normally get a week or 2 in between.
