Forget the Ice...I want a Summer Classic?

Question

It'll never happen....but mid summer Roller Hockey Tourny/exhibition game for the NHL stars would be a blast to watch.   Break up the some of the summer baseball lazy nights with a nice outdoor roller hockey game.

That way Tampa, LA, Carolina and other warm climate markets could get a taste of the spotlight.
Plus, I'd get a nice taste of Hockey in like July or August to tide me over while I'm sleeping thru the baseball season.

I actually think that'd be a pretty cool idea. Lets face it, if the NHL doesn't want to include Canadian teams for whatever reasons, and they can't ever have them held at the Southern/California Markets, 10 years from now the Winter Classic will be played using the same teams over and over and over again....which will eventually get boring. A Summer game would be great...Or they could just do what the superbowl does and hold two Warmer Climate teams in an arena in Canada, or the nothern US. That way, fans will buy the tickets to see two completely random teams face off against eachother....making a non home feild advantage for both teams. I don't know, But I think it would be exciting!

there is a possiblity that it was a dream but i remember for some reason seeing roller hockey played with ramps as well.. it was pretty exciting in my dream so i think it should work in real life.. the only bad part is how many players come from total cold weather areas may pass out from heat exasoustion.. i think i would watch just to break the monotony of summer tv

That relies upon on what you propose. there have been female, timid vampires a century in the past, human beings imagine that image began with Twilight, and it did not. i love the vampires who're flamboyant and sexual, like the classic image of Dracula.
