Devo Max for England : The obvious corollary ?

With recent polls in both England and Scotland showing majority support for Devo Max ( increased fiscal autonomy ) in the forthcoming 2014 Referendum in Scotland one wonders why the Cameron / Clegg coalition are clouding the issue with a diatribe of irrelevancies . By adopting such a policy south of the Border they would not only solve the West Lothian problem but provide a Parliament for Britain’ s largest nation.

Let me clarify the last sentence . I am suggesting England could apply the Devo Max proposition to their set up !

"Devo max" still hasn't been properly defined, but I agree that the obvious solution to almost everyone's gripes is a proper federal system with all powers devolved to regional or national governments except those which need to remain at a central (federal?) level, such as foreign policy, defence, borders etc.

Col per chance your no longer as sensible as you're making your self out to be. The English do not supply a damn about the Scottish. there is in straightforward words 5 million people. Do you rather imagine a usa with 50+ million people care about Alex Salmond and the Scottish people? Do you imagine English each human being is definitely attracted to Scottish politics and what is going on in holyrood? No. we are only little scots living of English taxes...we are no longer some thing to them.

We NEED a serious shake up. I favour a truly FEDERAL system!! Ideally a Republic, all the same!
