Do you think that VETERANS get their Medical FREE ?

So far the Dept of VA has recouped over 10.6 Billion Dollars from
Veterans Private Medical Plans...The VA Brags about it...

If a Veteran needs Treatment for Combat PTSD and He/She does not
have a Service Connection for it (Can take years to obtain it)...
They have to PAY out of their OWN POCKET...to obtain it...

Even if they have been Retired from the Service
and they need to access the VA PTSD Treatment programs
they HAVE TO PAY out of their OWN POCKETS...

and you wonder why there are so many SUICIDES ???

Three of my prescriptions, that if I was getting them using my part D coverage, would cost me 217.00 per month co-pay. I will and do gladly pay 8.00 per prescription for a 90 day supply at a time through the VA.

217.00 X 3 months = 651.00

8.00 x 3 months VA supply = 24.00

Who could ***** about that amount of savings.

If the VA is recouping some of that cost from somewhere else, more power to them.

Its sad how we treat our military and veterans , but I do not have a problem with them charging the insurance companys. I have never used the VA because i have been lucky enough to have insurance, but im glad its there if I need it.

I'm a Veteran, and I sure don't.

But, I'm also Canadian, and my medical cost the same as other Canadians - nothing. I would have to pay for drugs though.
