You do realize that the purpose of the military is the kill people and break things? That said, navy people don't carry guns regularly.

In every branch, you will have to have at least some exposure to guns, in basic training if nothing else.
But after that, you can get a job that has nothing to do with guns. There are lots of them. Jobs to maintain equipment, fix stuff, operate equipment, etc.
You could be the military's version of Nick Burns, your company's computer guy.

Join the Air Force or Navy. Those branches have guns, but most jobs in those branches are technical jobs. You won't be firing guns often if you're on a ship or working on aircraft (though you will probably still carry one).

Try the salvation army.
and to the person that claims to be retired Navy, and says sailors are not armed....... Sailors on ships damn sure stand quarterdeck watches, and you can bet your sweet asss we're armed. You never stood a watch during your time in?
You need to be .45 cal and shotgun trained (E-5 and above) to stand quarterdeck watches.
and Master at Arms, --still NAVY personnel despite the Marine cammies, --- are also armed.

I am not aware of any branch that would fit that description.
Even combat medics carry a weapon.

Satellite communications, a long school great job potential after you get out. Army Marines and Airforce offer this. No guns, Airforce only cops and special forces carry guns, AF is best bet

There are dozens of job classifications that have little to do with guns. Especially in the Navy or Air Force. If you go to the service websites, you can check out the MOS or Ratings to see. In the Army or Marines ( not recommended for you,) you'd get firearms training in basic, in the Navy and AF, it's minimal.
