I want to do the 100m hurdles this year. I've done 300m hurdles the past 2 years. I was scared to do the 100m hurdle because I can't alternate my legs, only my left leg can lead. My question is, if I 3 step in between a hurdle, do i alternate legs? Or 4 step? Thanks!

When you take three steps between the hurdles you use the same lead leg, using four steps makes you alternate. If you can not take three steps between the hurdles, move the hurdles closer together until you feel comfortable and then gradually push them back until they are in their correct position. In practice you can place the first hurdle in the correct spot, then move the second hurdle one foot closer, then the third hurdle two feet closer, and so on. It is much harder to have a long stride and the same speed in practice as you do in a race. Work on your leg actions everyday, you can make a practice hurdle at home so you can do leg drills everyday, even when not at school.
I also have a teammate who's getting in the mid sixteen's with a 4 step. the version between a 5 and four step is extensive (no longer lots for 4 and 3). artwork on your flexibility on the different factor, additionally must help collectively with some time. additionally prepare flights of four or 5 hurdles, it somewhat is how I went down from sixteen.2 to a fifteen.8 in 2 weeks.
You may want to try to get used to using your other leg just in case. When it comes to 100 meter hurdles however it is way easier to stick with one leg. Most hurdlers 3 step and you do not have to alternate your legs at all. All you need to do is get your rhythm down and you will do fine.
