Skyrim (PC): Will deleting saved games improve game performance?

I have an Alienware PC that runs Skyrim very smoothly, though today I just found out that I haven't been playing on the highest resolution! It runs the highest resolution smoothly except for some times (i've noticed mainly in rooms and shops). I have 600+ saved games, if I delete the ones I won't use, will the game performance improve?

I can't answer in terms of the PC, but I had about 200 saves on my Xbox360 version and noticed the load times were getting incrementally longer. After deleting all but a handful (6, I think) there was a definite improvement in load times. Good luck.

No, because the computer isn't accessing all of those at once. It's not a bad idea, but my guess is that you haven't been playing on the highest res for awhile. You should probably upgrade your RAM and GFX card, but if you aren't using a majority of those saves, it's still not a bad idea to clear some out just because it clutters up the hard drive.

Probably not. It might be your GFX card. or Processor.
