What should I make my mom for her birthday?

I'm 17, so I might be a little past the age for making presents, but I don't have a car, so I can't get out to buy her something, so I want to make her something. She just turned 39. She listens to The Doors, System of a Down, and Drowning Pool for the most part. She's not hardcore, but she's not a fairy, either. She used to be a vegetarian, but not anymore. (Just giving you background info on my mams.) She likes to watch NCIS and The Big Bang Theory. I'm pretty crafty with hemp string, so, maybe, a bracelet or something? I feel a little cheap doing that, though... Can any moms or children tell me what moms like? Thanks for any/all suggestions.

As a mom, I would really appreciate a little pampering.

I bet she'd love a nice relaxing stint in a bubble bath with her favourite scented candles.   When she gets out, give her hands a good massage, rub in some hand lotion and do her nails in hottest bright colour you can find!   Then have her sit down in front of the tv with her feet up watching her favourite show or dvd while you make dinner or do her usual chores.   

When the day is done, reminisce with her about favourite vacations, holidays, special events that you had together.  And then tell her you love and appreciate her.
