If she is home all the time ask one of the neighbors if you can make the cake at their house and leave it till the surprise.Don't say happy birthday or anything till supper time! Nothing says "Happy Birthday Mom" like a surprise mystery cake! Take all the contents in the refrigerator and cupboard , blend and bake into a jubilee delight! She'll be ecstatic and overwhelmed with your graciousness.

Make her a set of 'favour cheques' that she can cash with you whenever she wants: it may just be a hug, it may be cleaning the bathroom, cooking dinner, mother/daughter time, 5 minutes peace; anything you think will make her happy. I have been doing it on and off with my Mum for many years and she loves them.

well if you have a printer you could make her a nice card and print it out and if you live some where with flowers outside like florida pick her some nice flowers and you could borrow money or you could give her a hug and say happy birthday =]

Well, it might be kinda late to do it, but find some old friends or family she hasn't seen in a while and invite them over. My mother loved seeing her old friends more than any gift I could have bought her.

i did this for my mom for Christmas and she LOVED it.

so get a note book and fill it with memories you had with her, and go to her friend had have them write something that they love about her. my mom reads hers all the time. and have it be handwritten she'll love it more.

WHY DONT YOU MAKE HER A COLLAGE OF PHOTOS, YOU CAN USE THE CD BOXES TO PUT THEM, OR WHY DONT YOU MAKE HER A CD WITH HER FAVORITE MUSIC.
