Ionic compounds are usually composed of metal cations (positive charge) and nonmetal anions (negative charge).
So, you'd want to look at what the compounds are - metal, or what not - and then judge if it'd be an ionic compound or not. Transition metals can have different charges, so you might want to look them up but ionic
