I was at the food marked this morning to pick up a few things. A A woman was in front of me finishing up. She had quite a bit of food. I noticed she paid with a food a stamp card. No problem her kids and her have to eat no matter what. What really bothered me was the checker and bagger were talking about how much they loved obama and the rebublicans need to get out of the way they just hurt people,you know the liberal chatter. They obviosley were liberals. Yet after the woman left they starting talking behind her back about how they would like to spent hundreds of dollars for food that is free. And how they coulden't believe how much she had and the things she bought. One of them even said "that's the screwy goverment".....Does that not make you feel just how hypicritcal liberals are? I'm not saying all them are just most of them....
Uh, those very few people are NOT "MOST liberals" -- as anyone who had a brain would have known.
What's screwy about someone being able to feed themselves and their kids?
Then there's the fact that food stamps don't buy enough food to last for the month.
AND the fact that many on food stamps have jobs, but their employers pay them so little they qualify for government aid.
Why do you have a problem with people who a) understand what's actually going on, and b) don't like the sight of tens of millions of people, most of them children, starving to death in the streets, and c) think that employers should pay workers for their labor, rather than keeping ALL the profit for themselves?
Why do you have a problem with people who believe in liberty? (liberals)
Why do you have a problem with people who think companies don't have the right to poison everyone?
Why do you have a problem with people who are more intelligent than you?
This really has the high stench of BS. You just happened to be in the store, the woman just happened to use food stamps, the workers just happened to rave about Obama, and then began bashing the woman. Sorry, it's fishy.
And based on questions from conservatives on YIA, liberals don't have jobs anyway, so you actually ran into TWO liberals with jobs? In the same store?
Food stamps were just as available under the last Republican president as they are now. I've never had a grocery checker discuss politics with me. I think it's unprofessional for them to do it.
