I got the airplane that turned into a boat, but I went to Mt. Nibel and am stuck, because I can't access the boat/plane from this side of the water. How can I either get back there, or get the mode of transportation back?
Also, in my infinite wisdom, I used the save point in Mt. Nibel. FUH.

So you got the Tiny Bronco, took it back around to Nibelheim, and fought your way back through the Nibel Mountains?
I didn't even think there was an actual exit going through that way, except for the plot cutscenes. If there is anway to go through there again, there should be a point in the mountains on the map that serves as an entrance.

Jeez I haven't played that in months, if I'm right you can not use the airplane unless it's not water right?

Also you could try downloading a save game from the internet, putting it onto a memory stick and transferring it.
Don't know if it would work but it's too good a game to throw away now

I can't remember exactly if you can, but you should be able to go allllll the way back through the mountains, or just continue with the game. eventually you'll reach a point in the plot where you can go back.
