I used to use my older brother's ID all the time to buy beer.
I tried using a fake ID I got from an ad in High Times magazine. It was from Hawaii and I lived in California. The logic being most people from California wouldn't exactly know what a Hawaii ID looks like. Anyways, i tried to buy beer with it, but it didn't work. I was only 16 at the time and I look even younger than that. the ID said I was 23, the dude wasn't buying it at all.

I had a good one. A guy in my hall painted a fake drivers license on the wall. His roommate was in school for photography. All you had to do was stand up against the wall and let him take the picture. A couple of days later and viola - I'm three years older.
It worked great, I think it's still around here somewhere.

Yea, when i was 16, i made the fakest fake id...the problem was lamenating it.
I'd get turned down sometimes, some people would just laugh about how fake it was then sell it to me anyways, and sometimes it just worked.
But, hey theres lots of places to try. So make one or two. And keep on trying.

This is why the photo ID law is so stupid. If a 16 year old can get a fake ID, what makes you think a grown adult can't get one? The fact is, those who WANT to cheat the system will always find a way around the law......but this law harms many people--particularly seniors--who would never think of cheating the system.
