Obama "Rutherford B Hayes said the phone is nice but who would use it"?

Fact: president Hayes never said that and was the first president to have it installed in the white house. Did his telerprompters stop working? Wonder what the left would be doing if one of the rebublican running said that?

You can contrive anything you want.

Actually, the quote is attributed (erroneously) to Rutherford B. Hayes by many reference sources. So nobody would be critiquing any of the Republicans if they said it.

The left understands that the source of many quotes is a very problematic area. So we would not be doing anything if one of the Republicans had the intelligence to find a quote even if the source of that quote was a matter of dispute.

Hmmm... Well, Rick Santorum just said that in the Netherlands people have to wear bracelets stating, "do not euthanize," and that 10% of all deaths of the elderly are deaths from euthanizing.

That's not even a colloquial belief. It's just one of the most despicably stupid things any candidate for the presidency has ever said.

So, Obama's petty misnomer seems rather minor in comparison, no?

Whatever you're TRYING to say, you need to try again. Your post is a confused jumble.
