My dad made a prototype bow for me out of a PVC pipe. Today I went out out shot with it a few times. I noticed that the arrows weren't flying straight and had a tendency to veer toward the right. Do you know what I might be doing wrong to make it do that?
Please post reference pictures or websites with your answers if possible, just to clarify.

Did you expect a bow made of PVC pipe to be accurate?

Sounds like your arrows are way to heavy for your prototype bow. Even a very low poundage compound or recurve has to have the specified arrows to have proper flight. When you draw your bow and release the arrow, the arrow absorbs the energy and flexes left to right. When the arrow is to heavy it pushes the back end of the arrow further left and making it impact to the right. heres a short video, so you can see what a properly spined ( proper arrow for your bow) looks like in flight... hope this helps.........a fellow archer
