Is this technically cheating? (Friends' interesting relationship)?

Basically, I know these two guys who are in a relationship together, and basically their rule is if they see a hot guy, they're allowed to sleep with him if they have a threesome.

I don't find this to be cheating in their eyes, they seem to both accept sexual intimacy as long as each other is involved. On a personal note though, if I had a girlfriend, I wouldn't like that to happen (ignoring the fact I'm not bi, so obviously that would be a problem) because I'd feel completely wrong about it.

Do you believe this is a form a cheating, or is it alright? They're both happy with the deal and they're both very much in love.

No, I couldn't be in a relationship with someone who couldn't be dedicated to me as much as I'd be to them, even if it was just on a sexual level.

I'm tired of one night stands and stuff, when I get into a relationship, I want sex to mean something, emotionally, spiritually even... It isn't much if it's tossed around in my opinion...

But again, their relative view of the world may mean that they still feel spiritually and emotionally connected inviting people into their sexual relationship, it sure seems that they love each other, moreso than most other couples I know.

But would you mind if it was with another girl and your girlfriend? If she was alright with it..

& I dont think it's cheating if they're both ok with it and they're both involved.

They are in a open relationship, or exclusive, except when someone else happens to come along. Then it isn't cheating if the other gets to watch. Not a real relationship.

Your gut is telling you it's wrong, because you would feel bad if that happened to you. Your gut would be correct.

i don't see it as cheating as it is something they have both agreed on, clearly they must have a lot of trust and security in their relationship to be able to do this without it getting in the way and causing problems, from what i have heard thats rare.
that being said, its not something i would ever agree with for myself, i think sex is a far more personal thing and its a way of giving yourself (for lack of a better word) to someone completely, sharing that around doesnt appeal to me at all.

each to their own!

cheating depends on the rules lol

if theyre both okay with it then its not

one of the big signs of cheating is when the person who sleeps with the thrid part has to lie about it to his partner

theyre just more open minded. plus they probably want a threesome
