Is Obama a warning against Affirmative Action?
Let's look at Obama's career:
1) Went to college. Mysteriously got into Harvard, despite no indication of grades or any other substantiation to support his admission. Gets out of law school. Barely practices law, then becomes a community organizer (for which you need the same credentials as McDonalds)
2) Got into the Illinois legislature by dirty tricks; had his opponents removed from the ballot. Authors no legislation of substance. Gets no bills passed. Hardly ever there. Absent all the time.
3) Gets into Senate by running against the most unlikeable politician: Alan Keyes. Obama authors no legislation whatsoever in Senate. Has one of the highest rates of absenteeism in Senate history.
4) Gets elected as President with absolutely no qualifications.
Is this an indictment against Affirmative Action in all its societal forms? Do we have to go back to promoting people who actually have a track record of accomplishment?
Nice you mentioned Professor of Constitutional law for 12 years. Now that the Supreme Court is opposing his idiotic 2700 page health care fiasco, Obama has the nerve not only to whine, but to question the authority of the Supreme Court to vote against something supposedly passed with overwhelming Congressional approval. It is clear that Obama had about as much right to teach Constitutional law as Larry Flint would about abstinence.
Wow, you people are gluttons for punishment!
Keith, did you know that Harvard had to "pay off" two men who resigned from the Harvard Law Review because Obama reportedly made sexual advances towards them? This is not some scandal sheet nonsense, it is verified by Harvard. The terms of the settlements is not open for public review, but it is undeniable that Harvard found itself forced to pay off these two men, due to Obama. And didn't Obama serve just six months at this position? Don't you find his record just a bit odd? He gets into positions for which he has no track record whatsoever. It is clear he wasn't even a marginally good lawyer.
Keith.... once more.... those "accomplishments" are just embarrassing. Review every one. For example, you cannot credit Obama with the killing of Osama Bin Laden. The only contribution Obama made to that situation was not to rescind the plan that Bush had already put into place. The plan finally paid off, but Obama did not create it; Bush did.
Seriously, look at Obama's "accomplishments". None are really accomplishments at all. The bailout, as history is fast showing us, was largely a fraud. The banks desperately wanted to return the money just a few months after the initial crisis, but the Obama administration made it darn tough for them to even do that!
