Half of 12.50 is 6.25 so 1 1/2 her regular pay is 12.50 + 6.25 = 18.75
a) 40 hours times 12.50
8 hours times 18.75
Now add the two together to get gross pay. of $650

b)
Federal tax is 10% x 650=65
social tax 6.2% x 650 =40.30
medicare 1.45% x 650 = 9.43
Health INs = $25
Add them all up to get deductions of 139.73

c) gross pay minus deductions = net pay
650 - 139.73 =
