What are your thoughts on this, I do have enough money to replace the clutch but is there anything I should worry/ask about?

Well if you have enough money to buy this car and fix the clutch, then just buy a better car (costs a little more) with no problems. Bad clutch could lead to other problems too, especially when its this old. Don't get sucked in by the subwoofers, lights, and white rims. Why have a car that looks and sounds good and have it sit around. I think thats why he is trying to get rid of it. if it helps to prove my point go look at it, and check out any signs of a problem. But don't get sucked into subwoofers and all that. Iam sure you know about them, like bad timeing belt, or bad transmission, also if it starts listen to the way it sounds. rattels are all bad unless its the exhaust ratteling. We (family) have been through many old cars. First one was bad transmission. Another was timeingbelt. so on...(3 more cars). Yo man if your looking for a long lasting car then just come to the USA. cars like that go for $1,500 without any problems. Mainly the Seattle areas because theres so many of them. Just another option if you like.
Never ever buy someone elses problem. How do you know its only a clutch? it could also be the transmission or even a new engine. A clutch is not that expensive you would think on a nice car the owner would want to sell it for more not less. So why not put in a clutch and ask for more?
