i hope sydney you are not a teacher. teachers ain't supposed to be this childish. who told you miss alaa may be one of your students? by the way this is the internet and anybody could be miss alaa. if you are a teacher shut up and grow up before you make a fool of yourself.

average cost of a disk in each packaging
8x = 10
x = $1.25

15y = 16.50
y = $1.10

x - y = $1.25 - $1.10
x - y = $0.15

save 15 cents

You would save 15 more cents with the 15 package. When I divided 16.50 by 15 I got 1.10 where when I did that with the package of 8, I got 1.25.

$10/8=$1.25/disk
$16.50/15=$1.10
$0.15 is the difference per disk
