You will need a memory stick to update this.

You will also need either a USB cable or a memory card reader.

You need to download this:
http://du01.psp.update.playstation.org/update/psp/image/us/2011_0810_2ca64d59dcf48f45fb99b400a586b395/EBOOT.PBP

and install it on the memory stick in the following location:

stick://PSP/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP

once then you go into the PSP settings menu and select System Update and install from memory stick.

You have to override the custom firmware for you to be able to get back on official firmware, once you are on OFW you can update through the internet for future updates, but again you HAVE to have a memory stick.

EDIT: This will fix your PlayStation Store as well....Show more

I've heard the only way is to buy something called a "Pandora's battery" of E-bay or something. I wouldn't suggest buying it, it can easily brick your PSP....Show more
