What is your favorite quote showing Hitler was not a Christian?

An oft-used argument against Christianity is that Hitler was not a Christian. My favorite quote is ""We will wash off the Christian veneer and bring out a religion peculiar to our race" - Hitler quoted in The Twisted Cross, Joseph Carr, p. 203.

The quote in which you posted is a false quote created by Roy Schoeman.

I like these quotes.

"I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so." - Adolf Hitler, to General Gerhard Engel, 1941

"My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. ...Today, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed his blood upon the Cross." - Adolf Hitler, speech on April 12, 1922

@Jeremy R The first treaty made after Hitler took power was the Reichskonkordat, with the Catholic Church. It was the Catholic Church giving moral legitimacy to the Nazi's. The RCC is a den of snakes.

I would love to answer your question. Atheists and others love to use the fact that he was raised as a Roman Catholic against the Catholic Church itself and it's members to discredit them. The fact is that he was indeed of that church. As we all well know power tends to corrupt an individual, except those who are most diligent in their practice of morality and all the virtues. Hitler corrupted under power and became a monster so to speak. Those who have set themselves against the rcc in particular for whatever reason love to use Hitler as an example of what comes from their teaching. He is almost held as the pope himself at that time simply b/c that would do the most damage. The holocaust is rediculously put on the shoulders of the church b/c he was raised catholic. If you study into the holocaust you"ll see that around 3 million of those persecuted were Christians, around of which were 12000 priests. Though you will not hear about that, b/c it would contradict people using Hitler against the rcc. When confronted with this fact it is said that the Christians were killed as polish not Christians. That is ludacris. They think that simply b/c we weren't there we must swallow their lies. The polish people themselves were not persecuted for being polish. How stupid do you think we are. Specific groups were targeted, mainly Jews and Christians. To kill over 12000 priest is no accident. There is one priest per thousands of people. To have killed that many is obvious in the holocaust intent. Hitler did not go through Poland mindlessly killing all polish people regardless of religion. There is no arguement that specific groups were targeted. Hitler was not acting on behalf of the Roman Catholic Church, such an accusation is obviously mindlessly and to one's own advantage against their enemy. I assure you that he was not acting on behalf of the Roman Catholic Church. I cannot answer you directly, for I know nothing his speeches, but I solemnly state that the Roman Catholic Church was not behind this massacre. I'd stake my life on it..

An oft-used straw man against Christianity is that Hitler was a Christian. The same straw man is used against atheism with Stalin or Pol Pot etc.

These arguments are lame, like the people who push them.
